Wow. This week. Where do we even begin? Sometimes it's better to just let it all sink in without feeling the need to react. I'll be honest with you all. I'm not one to really vocalize my political beliefs, sorry but there's no paragraphs on Facebook, blog posts on my political views or #WithHer #MakeAmericaGreatAgain hashtags. I think there's a time and a place for that stuff, and well, it's not on this platform.
With emotions running high post-Election, I can't help but feel a little, well, exhausted? From the political saturation on social media to just getting through a jam packed work week, there's something rather appealing about disconnecting for a bit. Anyone else with me?
With the weekend on the horizon, I cannot wait to kick back, drink a few apple cider mimosas (don't these sound so good? Mmm...), and steer clear of social media, the news, and any form of media. You guys, how appealing does that sound right now? I'm drained.
In lighter news, this weekend is going to be absolutely gorgeous. Get outside, go for a run, have a few beers, tell the ones you love them, and smile. At the end of the day, we're all blessed to be here for another day. Let's just not take it for granted. So cheers to disconnecting for a bit and savoring the last few weeks of fall.
